Had the CR Tech 2 fitted on Friday 08/03/13 Fantastic should have had it fitted earlier not only is the power and acceleration improved dramatically feels like a new truck, but was told to expect 5-10% improvement on MPG so thought I'd gain 3-4MPG but NO just done a 170 mile trip and my MPG has gone from 30MPG(at best) to 41MPG!!!!!!! and that driving at motorway speeds god know what I'll get on A roads

Fitted CR Tech 2 chip 4 days ago. Really pleased with all aspects, engine smoother, far better acceleration, more torque low down. At least 6 miles more mpg local running in the Brecon mountains where I live. Looking forward to check it on a run, normally get 37mpg. Let you know the results. All very good so far.

Fitted the CR Tech to my Seat Leon FR 170 Common Rail Diesel. Impressed with the quality of the digital box for the price. Instructions clear, straight forward fit, hardest bit was finding place to site the box and route the cable. With my car being nearly new I switched from the default map 1(fuel economy/increase low and midrange torque) to Map 2(maximum performance). I did after all buy this for a performance upgrade.

Having never tried a tuning box before I didn't know what to expect and I was a little sceptical regarding quoted increases from 170BHP - 212BHP and 350NM - 428NM Torque. But WOW what a difference(I can totally believe those figures).

The whole driving experience has improved vastly, the jump in performance is massive, loads more torque throughout the rev range. Now throws you back in your seat and keeps you there as the revs rise, doesn't tail off, Turbo lag has gone, instant on/off boost. Engine sounds much sweeter, less harsh and doesn't sound like it's being thrashed liked it did before.

Performance wise I know I'm now in the same league as Astra VXR/Focus ST etc(I have left the performance adjustment to default, so there's still more power if I want it). Plus getting decent MPG. Win/Win.

Excellent product, great communication from bluespark. They take the effort to make sure you have the right product for your car. Parcel well wrapped and great instructions for your car, not just a random one. Would definatly use again as these peole do care about your satisfaction.

Installed the unit in a matter of minutes. Just removed engine cover and clipped it in, easy! Engine runs much smoother, its certainly ironed out the twitchy-ness when accelerating. The power come much faster, its certainly noticeable. Don't get me wrong, its not like adding a massive turbo charger or anything but it IS much more responsive, smoother and feels quicker.

When driving responsibly and using gears correctly it has averaged about 8mpg more than I would usually get. So everything these guys are stating is 100% true.

I would certainly recommend this product to anyone with a common rail diesel engine.

FYI - The mpg test were carries out over a 100 mile range. Driving economically I was getting around 57mpg with this installed of virtually the same roads and speeds I managed 65mpg.

Great little box works as described,lots more torque in lower rev range and improved economy on my 2012 jeep grande cherokee v6 3.0 lt diesel

My mondeo was always ok with it being the 130 but lacked a little perfromance
The car has 158k on but has always been serviced so has been looked after went to day and got the box fitted and now the car drives much better all round and is a lot
More responcive at all time I have the performance map and the adj screw at max and
There is no problems at all a just need a few more things doing and al be happy with the car this is by far the best value for money mod and I would highly recomend any 1 to get there car fitted with 1 top service and verry helpfull

I said that I'd let you have some feedback about the CR Tech box.

Let me start with my acknowledgement that I can't recall a time when I have had such a fantastically high level of customer service. This I believe feeds into everything that follows.

I had not realised the potential level of increased power, and I had to remind myself on several occassions that enjoyable as it was, I had a responsibilities to other road users.

Apart from this aspect, I made no changes to my driving style and will confess that on the motorway I did occasssionally exceed the limits, where I felt safe to do so.

I had checked my MPG on the way from London to you and I was getting 57 MPG. The Citroen claim is that on a mixed motoring I could get 74MPG.

I have checked again today. Obviously I returned to London using mostly duel carriageway/motorway roads. I have subsequently been to Portsmouth when I got stuck in a queue of traffic that took around an hour to do 6-7 miles. I have done my normal local stop start journeys. Despite all of this, today's check shows that I'm getting 63 MPG, roughly a 10% increase.

I look forward to getting into my car now. I hope to capitalise on the increase MPG by starting to drive more economically, I'm sure that I'll be able to get 65+MPG, not the Citroen claim - but hey when did anyone ever achieve the manufacturers claims?

It's not very often I drive to work with a smile on my face, but I did this morning - this little box has given my car a new lease of life! I immediately noticed the improved accelleration as soon as I left the house. The delivery of the extra power is also smooth through every gear, which surprised me. Can't wait to see how it performs with the caravan in tow!

But there are other things it seems to have 'fixed' that I have been tolerating since I bought the car new in 2003. First, I always had a real sluggish judder if I pulled out of a junction at a slow roll in second gear, and would usually have to change down to first to get going. That has gone now, replaced with a smooth pull away. Similarly if I slowed down the engine would clatter if i went below 15mph in fourth before applying the clutch , but not now. The last thing, which I had even taken back to the dealer when I first got the car, only to be told 'They all do that, mate', was a 'blip' at around 2000rpm when accellerating in third gear which felt like a momentary loss of power. It has always done it, but the CR Tech seems to have cured that too!

This is by far the best thing i've ever bought for my car. The only thing that makes me mad is the fact that I have been driving round for years in a car that was badly set up form the off. I would love to think the Pro version would give me even more to smile about, but I suspect it would be a case of diminishing returns and I have probably already made the biggest improvement. Also, I love that I didn't have to mess with any settings, the CR just worked out of the box. Maybe if they come down in price a bit in the future I will give it a punt.

Anyway, I can't thank you enough for your help and advice, but more importantly that money-back guarantee which gave me the confidence to try the unit out. Expect some enquiries from my friends and colleagues in the very near future!

Its working very well, I am surprised at the increase in power and torque. I have the only Peugeot Partner in West Yorkshire with torque steer !
I childishly turned the box up to maximum today, no dashboard warning lights, engine runs fine, and goes like a rocket. I cannot believe the difference.

Don’t know how the mpg will be affected, but I'm going to turn it back down a bit anyway.

I really appreciate the trouble you have gone to in sorting this issue, I'm sure other suppliers would have cut their losses and simply sent a refund. Trust me to have a “hybrid van” due to the previous owners modifications!

Having owned previous analogue and 'digital' boxes on several different cars I have never been so impressed with any of them as I have always been with Bluespark CR Tech, and the CR Tech 2 is no exception, in fact, I can honestly say there is no cheaper way to improve the performance and economy of your diesel car. As an electronics engineer myself I can testify that the build quality and parts used, the time dedicated to mapping the curves and then adjusting them within the manufacturer's maximum tolerances, professional looking boxes make you feel you got something for your money and great service mean that these guys are not in it just for money, they obviously take great pride in what they do and strive to offer the best quality, the best service and the best price bar none. They continue to develop and improve on what they do which is always a good sign of a company investing in itself. There's nobody comes close to these guys and there are lots of inferior products available costing twice as much - I wouldn't buy from anyone else!
